DC visits houses gifted by PM at Chitalmari

Deputy Commissioner  of Bagerhat Mohammad Azizur Rahman visited the gift house given by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the occasion of Mujib Year in Chitalmari. On Saturday afternoon, he visited a total of 61 houses in the first and second phases of the Asrayan Project in Sadar Union and Kalatala Union of Chitalmari Upazila.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Liton Ali was present with him at the time.  Among others,  Assistant Commissioner (Land) Jannatul Afroz Swarna, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chitalmari Thana A.H.M. Kamruzzaman Khan, Upazila Awami League President Babul Hossain Khan, General Secretary Piyush Kanti Roy, Project Implementation Officer Apurba Das, Chitalmari Sadar Union Parishad Chairman Sheikh Nizam Uddin, Barbaria Union Parishad Chairman Masud Sardar and Kalatla Union Parishad Chairman Sikder Matiar Rahman were present at the scene. 

Regarding the visit of Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Azizur Rahman, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Liton Ali said that apart from inspecting the houses of the Asrayan project, he also inquired about the Covid situation in Chitalmari due to the Corona epidemic and strict lockdown.  And he expressed satisfaction over the overall situation, he added.
