Lakshmipur Deputy Commissioner Anjan Chandra Paul has been infected with Corona virus.
At the same time, his wife Smriti Pal, their two school-going sons and daughters, and two other employees, including a cook, have been tested positive for Covid-19. All of them are being treated at home.
Their corona positive report came from Noakhali Univer sity of Science and Techno logy Corona Testing Lab. Lakshmipur Civil Surgeon Dr. Abdul Ghaffar confirmed the matter on Monday evening.
However, no signs of corona were seen in the body of the Deputy Commissioner. He told the media through mobile phone that he was healthy and that he is continuing his office work from home.
