A day-long training workshop on online registration and the submission of annual declaration reports under the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) was held on May 26, 2025, at the Multipurpose Complex of the Armed Forces Division.
The event was organised by the Bangladesh National Authority for Chemical Weapons Convention (BNACWC).
A total of 58 participants attended the training, representing various chemical industries, importers, users, and trading entities related to scheduled chemicals in Bangladesh.
The workshop provided hands-on training on the process of online registration and the submission of annual data regarding the import, use, and sale of scheduled chemicals. It also addressed common challenges and their solutions in detail.
Participants expressed that the workshop would play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely submission of data by respective organizations in the future. At the end of the session, Commodore Mohammad Mohabbat Ali, Member Secretary of BNACWC, distributed certificates among the trainees.
