What can a first-grader invent? In Bogura, the answers are astonishing, as a school science fair unveils over a hundred groundbreaking projects by its youngest minds.

The "Missile Nullifier-7," created by eighth-grader Ragib Ashab, is drawing everyone's attention. This special missile, developed using AI, will single-handedly intercept four or five enemy missiles, protecting against external threats. The student's innovation aims to keep aerial routes safe. Guests, teachers, and students were amazed by the exceptional inventions displayed at the day-long science fair held at BEE Model School and College in the BSCIC area of Bogura city.

The fair was inaugurated on Tuesday morning by District Education Officer Ramadan Ali Akand. The event was presided over by the founding Principal of the institution, Engineer Shahabuldin Saikat. Special guests at the fair included Bogura Press Club President Rezaul Hasan Ranu and General Secretary Kalam Azad. Senior journalist Mohan Akhanda also spoke. The event was hosted by teacher Shohani Bappi.

After the inauguration ceremony, the guests visited and viewed 115 science projects created by students from grades one to ten. The guests highly praised the students' creativity, scientific thinking, and innovative skills. At the fair, students presented wonderful projects on various subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Information Technology, and Environmental Science. Many projects showcased new ideas for generating electricity, water purification devices, robotics, solar-powered models, and environmentally friendly innovations.

Over one hundred and fifty students from grades one to ten participated in the fair with more than a hundred projects. The fair in Bogura featured over a hundred innovations, including projects like agriculture powered by solar energy and trains that avoid accidents. Parents, students, and guests were overwhelmed seeing the creativity, scientific mindset, and innovative power of the students.

Seventh-grade student Misbah Ariz's "Agro Assistant" will monitor farmland 24/7. His innovation aims to advance this agriculture-dependent country. It will be controlled via an LCD screen and mobile Bluetooth. Due to a lack of proper knowledge, farmers often face losses; this device will monitor the field 24/7, provide irrigation when water levels are low, and show soil moisture. Not only farmers but various departments will benefit from this. This young scientist is working to expand its scope further.

First-grade young scientists Arwa Naiyat Sharia and Maria Islam Raka's "Solar System Agriculture and Agro Farm" will generate electricity from sunlight to run pumps for irrigating land. Solar power will be used for pond cultivation and other farming activities. Alongside these technologies, new concepts for electricity generation, water purifiers, trains to prevent accidents, the desired city, fire service vehicles, and an automatic water dispenser to prevent water waste also attracted the attention of the guests and everyone present.

Students, teachers, parents, and local dignitaries participated in the day-long science fair, creating a festive atmosphere.

Parents Suraiya Akter and Zahin Islam, expressing gratitude and thanks to the institution's authorities for such an initiative, said that this will certainly play an important role in the intellectual development of the students.

Bogura Press Club President Rezaul Hasan Ranu and General Secretary Kalam Azad said that such science fairs play a vital role in building students' curiosity, inquisitiveness, and innovative mindset. They praised such initiatives for making future generations interested in science.

Founding Principal Engineer Shahabuldin Saikat said, "Our aim with this event is for the development of students' creativity and to achieve practical, real-world education. We want them to contribute to the country's progress in science and technology in the future." District Education Officer Ramadan Ali Akand said, "Science fairs play a crucial role in fostering students' curiosity, inquisitiveness, and innovative mentality. May such initiatives continue."
