A day-long job fair and certificate giving ceremony was held in Netrokona on Wednesday under the auspices of Shooting Star Ltd and district administration.
The job fair and certificate giving ceremony was organized for 640 trainees who completed the professional outsourcing training program arranged under learning and earning development project undertaken by the Information Communication Technology (ICT) division.
Joint Secretary of the ICT Division under the ministry of ICT Mohammad Ataur Rahman addressed the certificate giving ceremony as chief guest while Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Netrakona Anjana Khan Mojlish was in the chair.
The function was addressed, among others, by the Project Director of the Learning and Earning Development Project Mohammad Humayun Kabir, Chairman of Netrakona Zila Parishad Asit Kumar Sarker Sajal, Police Super of Netrakona Mohammad Foyaz Ahmed and Mayor of Netrakona Municipality Nazrul Islam Khan.
The chief guest distributed certificates among 640 trainees at local public hall here.
Later, the chief guest visited 10 colorful stalls set up in the job fair ground at Bokultola near the public hall.
