Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) organised 'Food Festival and Annual Cultural Program-2024'. The programme was organised under the initiative of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology of the University.
A colourful procession was taken out in the university campus on Thursday morning. Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Dean Prof. Dr. Mohammad Lutfur Rahman, Food Science and Technology Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Ferdousi Akhtar, Fisheries Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Sheikh Ahmad-al-Nahid, Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering Faculty Dean Prof. Md. Safiqul Islam Khan, Registrar Mirza Farooq Imam, Director (Student Welfare) Prof. Dr. Md. Ashraf Ali Biswas, and Director (External Activities) Prof. Dr. AKM Saifuddin along with faculty students, officials, and employees, participated.
After that, the food festival was held in the administrative building premises of the university. The day-long food festival featured a variety of delicious pies and dishes prepared by the students of the university. There were total 11 stalls in the food festival. In the evening, the annual cultural programme was held at the CVASU Auditorium.
