Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) administration has inaugurated the modernization of the day-care center established with the cooperation of teachers’ association.
It was inaugurated on Monday (September 11) on the second floor of the University Center (UC) building.
In the speech of the chief guest during the inauguration, Vice-Chancellor Professor Farid Uddin Ahmed said, that it is very good to see such a beautiful arrangement for children including extension of the day-care center, provision of logistic support. Those who have worked to make this environment beautiful are a part of the university. It has become so beautiful with their hard work. Here are our guidelines to ensure that children get proper logistical support to spend their time there. We now want to develop every work sustainably so that this university can benefit from it for a long time.
In the speech of the special guest, Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Kabir Hossain said, we are ensuring the highest quality test at the lowest cost of the work we are doing. Parking was a long-standing demand of everyone in the university. Meanwhile, the work of parking is still visible. We are always working to ensure that children get the proper facilities they need at daycare centers.

Kamruzzaman Chowdhury, the president of the teachers' association, Professor Dr. Chandrani Nag, Provost of Syed Mujtaba Ali Hall Md. Sayed Arfin Khan Nobel, Secretary of the Teachers' Association Mahbubul Hakim, Additional Director of Accounts Morshed Chowdhury along with members of Teachers Association and members of Proctoral Body were present.
