Date juice extractors get training, equipment

A total of  70 date juice collector, locally known as Gachhi of Trimohini and Satbaria Unions of Keshabpur Upazila received training and date juice collection equipment at Trimohini Union Parishad in the upazila on Monday.

The programme was held under LGSP-3 in collaboration with Sheikh Hasina Software Technology Park's Kenaar Hat in Jashore. 

Jashore Deputy Commissioner Md. Tamizul Islam Khan addressed the function as the chief guest under the chairmanship of Keshabpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nusrat Jahan. 

Md. Hussain Shawkat, Deputy Director of Jashore Local Government Department, Badal Chandra Biswas, Deputy Director of Jashore Department of Agricultural Extension, Alhaj Kazi Rafiqul Islam, Keshabpur Upazila Chairman spoke as special guests at the time. 

Trimohini Union Parishad Chairman SM Anisur Rahman, Satbaria Union Parishad Chairman Samsuddin Dafadar, UP Secretary Prabhat Kumar Singh and others were also present at the time.

Jashore Deputy Commissioner Md. Tamizul Islam Khan administered an oath at the time for not producing adulterated molasses in participation of the date juice collectors.
