Khulna divisional head office of The Daily Shyambazer was inaugurated in Jhenidah town on Thursday night. The programme was held at the office venue at Rani Bhaban at Hossain Shaid Suhrawardi (HSS) road in the town.
Presided over by Jhenidah press club president M Raihan, additional superintendent of police of Jhenidah Sadar circle Abul Bashar inaugurated the office as chief guest.
DIO-1 of the district special branch (DSB) Atiqur Rahman, court i0nspector Rabiul Islam, Jhenidah press club general secretary Mahmud Hasan Tipu, vice president Foysal Ahmed, DI-2 of the DSB Afzal Hossain attended as special guests.
Daily Shyambazer staff correspondent Ashraful Islam conducted the programme, while sub editor Ali Hasan supervised. Journalists Sohag Ali, Nirab Ahmed, M Selim among others remain present.
The speakers urged upon the journalists to maintain all out safety in movement and discharge duty considering the global pandemic corona virus.
Only a sort slip of writings by a journalist can play both positive and negative impact on the society as well as state as the pen of a working journalist is mightier than the sword.
