The Daily Dinkal acting editor Dr Rezwan Hossain Siddiqui dies at a hospital in the capital on Tuesday night.
Rezwan, also a senior member of Khulna Union of Journalists, breathed his last at a private hospital in Shyamoli area in the capital around 10:00pm on Tuesday.
He was suffering from kidney-related diseases.
His daughter Aditi Sidduqui confirmed the news of his demise.
Rezwan’s namaz-e-janaza was held at noon on Wednesday at the National Press Club.
Rezwan was born at Elasin village in Tangail in 1953.
He started his journalism career at Dainik Bangla in 1972. He served as a Director General of Press Institute Bangladesh (PIB).
