Chattogram District Civil surgeon office is forming 284 medical teams to deal with cyclone Mocha.
Chattogram District Civil Surgeon Dr Elias Chowdhury gave this information on Saturday morning.
He said, 9 urban dispensaries under the control of Chattogram Civil Surgeon Office and 5 medical teams have been kept in Chattogram General Hospital. A total of 284 medical teams have been kept ready to deal with the disaster. Among them, a total of 70 medical teams are ready under 14 upazila health complexes of Chattogram district. One medical team is ready for each of the 200 unions in the district.
Emergency control room has been opened.
