Authorities of Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) will inoculate free rabies vaccine to pets on September 28 on the occasion of World Rabies Day 2024.
The matter was informed in a notification signed by Senior Deputy Director (Public Relation and Publication Office) of CVASU Khalilur Rahman.
The notification said that with the joint initiative of SA Kaderi Teaching Veterinary Hospital and CVASU Veterinary Clinic and the Medicine and Surgery Department of CVASU, free rabies vaccine will be inoculated to 100 pets. Along with that, an awareness meeting on rabies will be organized with 30 pet owners.
CVASU Director (Veterinary Clinic) Professor Dr Bhajan Chandra Das said the pet owners have to register to get free vaccines and participate at the meeting. He requested the pet owners to register by calling on mobile no. 01314-300655 from 10:00am to 5:00 pm except Friday and Saturday.
