The executive committee of the Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) Officers' Association-2025 biennial election held.
Senior Deputy Director (Public Relations and Publications) Khalilur Rahman has been elected as the president, Senior Technical Officer Mohammad Jalal Uddin as the vice-president and Deputy Librarian Mohammad Jamal Hossain as the general secretary in the election.
Chief Election Commissioner and Chief Engineer of the university, Achinta Kumar Chakraborty announced the election results after voting at the CVASU Auditorium on Tuesday afternoon.
The other winners in the election are Joint General Secretary Jahangir Alam, Finance Secretary Mohammad Salah Uddin, Organizing Secretary Dr. Md. Noor Alam, Office Secretary Mohammad Golam Mawla, Publicity and Publication Secretary Md. Rahad Hasan, Sports and Cultural Secretary Md. Asif Ahmed, Social Welfare and Hospitality Secretary ANM Zahid Hasan, Women and Children Affairs Secretary Sharmin Sultana and Campus Secretary Mizanur Rahman.
The elected executive members are Md. Khorshed Alam, Nasir Ahmed and Md. Monirul Islam.
Computer Programmer Md. Mamun Sikder and Section Officer Md. Shawkat Ali served as Election Commissioners in the biennial election-2025 of the Executive Committee of the CVASU Officers Association.
