The Anti-Corruption Commission on Thursday sued former principal of Cumilla Victoria Government College and two other employees of the college for misappropriating around Tk 2.4 crore.
ACC Assistant Director Rafi Md Nazmus Sadat filed the case against the former principal, Ratan Kumar Saha, former accountant Mohammad Abdul Hannan and office assistant Kazi Zahangir Alam, sources at the ACC said.
According to the case statement, the accused showed Tk 2,40,92,907 was spent in 22 different funds.
However, the investigation officer, during a probe, found no existence of these funds.
