A cultural programme and Paushali Pitha Utsab were held at the Milestone College on its campust located in Uttara area in the capital city with the determination to strengthen the country’s folk history-tradition, family and social ties.

Chairman of the Milestone College’s Governing Body Mamtaz Begum Inaugurated the Cultural Programme and Pitha Utsab on January 7.
Founder and advisor of the Milestone College Colonel Nurun Nabi (retd.), Principal of the collge Professor Md. Shahidul Islam, Vice-Principal of the college Mohammad Ziaul Alam, Principal of Milestone Preparatory KG School Mrs. Rifat Nabi Alam and Director (Administration) Md. Masud Alam were present at that time as honorable guests.
Different typed of pitha were available in the festival.
Patishapta, Bhapa, Chitoi, Kolar pitha,Til er pitha, Puli, Pakan, Dudh Chitoi, Rosh Pitha, Bini Pitha, Chand Pakan, Bibikhana, mung pakkan, Kshirkuli, Jhal Puli, Pantoa, Latika, Nakshi pitha and different types Payesh and delicious others winter pitha took place in the Utsab of the Milestone College.
