Kamlapur Primary Training Institute (PTI) has taken various programmes including cultural competition in observance of Mujib Barsho. The winners received crests, certificates and gifts from Superintendent of the PTI.
According to sources, at least 10 items have been taken in the competition. The items are Nazrul Geety, Rabidra Sangeet, folk song, patriotic song, solo acting, sudden speech, painting on Bangabandhu, dance sequence, poetry reciting and Adhunik Sangeet. About 60 trainee teachers took part at the competition.
A prize given ceremony was held on the occesion. The ceremony was presided over by Mollah Shahiduzzaman, Superintendent of PTI.It was addressed by Md. Abu Taleb, assistant superintendent, Rakib Ullah, Instructor, Harun Or Rashid, Instructor, MM Abdur Rahman, Instructor (computer science), Ormi Shamim Ara, Instructor, Sazzadul Alam, trainee teacher and Shakhawat Hossain, trainee teacher addressed at the discussion.
Mollah Shahiduzzaman, Superintendent of PTI, distributed prizes among the winners. Later a doa mohfil was conducted by Mohammad Arif, Instructor, for departed soul of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and others, and prosperity of the nation.
