Cultural activities play a major role in for the nation’s prosperity. Thus all should help cultural activists from unwanted hassles and distresses”, said Public Administration State Minister Farhad Hossain.
State Minister made the assertion during a prize distribution programme among distressed cultural activists, teachers and students in Meherpur district on Thursday. He virtually attended the programme as the chief guest.
State Minister Farhad Hossain said, many cultural activists during pandemic lost their jobs and earning sources. Government always takes care of the distressed people. In this process, authorities are gathering information and helping distressed artisans and cultural activists across the country.
State Minister said that the current government is working relentlessly to make the country with liberal and anti-racial mindset. Government in the meantime is also working on enlightening the moral based on religious perspective. Temple-based mass education project will play an important role to build a liberal and non-judgmental society in the country.
Presided by Meherpur Deputy Commissioner Dr Mohammad Monsur Alam Khan, Additional Secretary for Religious Affairs Ministry Ranjit Kumar Das and Meherpur Police Super SM Murad Ali spoke as special guests at the programme.
A total of 90 cultural activists each got 5000 tk at the programme. 5 best teachers and 10 best students in Meherpur also were awarded with prizes and cash during the programme.
