Chittagong University History Club celebrated its 2nd founding anniversary. The guests also unveiled the wrapping of the 2nd anniversary commemoration 'Itidut'. The ceremony took place at the university's central library auditorium on Sunday. Club secretary Motiur Rahman Shrabon delivered the welcome address with Shaleh Md. Abdullah in the chair. Press & Publication Head Mahbub A Rahman and Associate Research & Development head Farha Binte NurTuli jointly Hosted the event.
Professor Dr Sekandar Chowdhury, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities was present as the chief guest. Advisor of the club Ahsanul Kabir was also present at the event. Before the ceremony, a rally was brought out on the campus with participation of the club members. A cultural event was also performed at the second part of the programme.
Chittagong University History Club was established on August 22 in 2017. The main goal of the club is to create their interest in history by presenting history to the generation.
