For the first time in Bangladesh, to be compatible with and contribute to the next generation technical advances, Department of EEE, Canadian University of Bangladesh (CUB) activated an ongoing research, innovation and commercialization units from 27 June, 2019 under the supervision and guidance of Dr MD Shahrukh Adnan Khan, dean (acting), School of Science and Engineering and Head of EEE department.
The name of the research cell are; Smart City Planning Cell, II) IoT and Big Data Research and Commercialization Cell.
To conduct quality research, bringing the prototype into commercialization and publish article in highly indexed periodicals, two research assistants for each cell were recruited from the department through evaluation test.
Professor Dr Mohammad Mahfuzul Islam, vice chancellor, Professor Dr Nazrul Islam, advisor to Board of Trustees, Professor William Derrenger, dean, School of Liberal Arts and Bahauddin Isa, registrar (acting), were present during the evaluation.
