Marking Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birth centenary the shuttle train of Chittagong University (CU) will be painted depicting images of Bangabandhu. Sufi Mizanur Rahman, Chairman of PHP Family will provide financial support to the work.
Vice-Chancellor of the university Prof. Dr. Shirin Akhtar announced this at a seminar organized by Chittagong University Association of Zoology (CUAZ) at the University Biology Faculty Auditorium on Tuesday. The VC said the images of Bangabandhu painted on the shuttle train will beautify the train. Besides, students will get to know about the biography of Bangabandhu.
Prof. Dr Md. Mahbubur Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Biology attended the seminar as special guest. About four hundred students from different colleges of Chittagong participated in the seminar.
