Chattogram University Teachers’ Association protested and condemned the attack on Prof Masud Mahmud of the University of Science and Technology, Chattogram (USTC).
President of CU Teachers’ Association Prof Zakir Hossain and its general secretary Prof Dr Anjan Kumar Chowdhury in a joint statement protested and condemned the incident.
In the statement, they said that Masud Mahmud was a professor in the department of English of Chattogram University. Recently he has retired from the university. The attack of the teacher is not accepted.
The Chattogram University Teachers Association demanded exemplary punishment of the incident. The association urged the authorities concerned of private university to take action against the criminals.
