Chattogram Zila Parishad celebrated the first anniversary of July Uprising on Tuesday.
A special program titled ‘July Revolution in My Eyes’ was held on the occasion. They were honored whose unique ideas and initiatives have made the mass movement a reality.
The program was presided over by Chattogram Deputy Commissioner Farida Khanam and moderated by Chattogram Zila Parishad Executive Officer Md Didarul Alam. Chattogram Divisional Commissioner Dr. Md. Ziauddin was present as the chief guest at the certificate distribution ceremony, while Chattogram Zila Parishad Administrator Mohammad Nurullah Nuri was the special guest and Chief Executive Officer Chowdhury Rawshan Islam delivered the welcome speech
Divisional Commissioner Dr Md. Ziauddin said, "A nation that remembers its history and democratic struggle can only move forward in the future. The creative ideas of the young generation shed new light on our national consciousness. This event will further strengthen leadership, sense of responsibility and constructive thinking among the young society."
Zila Parishad Administrator Mohammad Nurullah Nuri said, "July Revolution is no longer just an idea - it is a symbol, a reflection of the awakening of youth, sense of responsibility and social responsibility."
Deputy Commissioner Farida Khanam said, "This event is a shining example of the talent and thinking of youth. The active participation of youth in state building is the demand of the time, and such initiatives develop them as responsible citizens."
The background of the 'mass uprising', its concept proposal, implementation and future plans were discussed in detail at the event. The individuals and groups proposing the ideas were given honors and prize bonds.
