Chattogram Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (WASA) has inaugurated Customer Service Month on Monday morning.
The inauguration ceremony was held at the fifth floor conference room of Chattogram WASA.
On the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the service month has been declared from March 1-31 to facilitate customer service and collect arrears of Chattogram WASA connection.
Chattogram WASA Board Chairman Professor Dr Jahangir Alam, Board Member Nazmul Haque Duke, Chattogram WASA Managing Director Engineer AKM Fazlullah, Deputy Managing Director (Administration / Finance), Secretary, Commercial Manager, Chief Revenue Officer and other staff officers attended the meeting.
It is to be noted that in this service month customers pay bill without surcharge, pay arrears in installments, issue and renew deep tube well licenses day by day, provide opportunity to change meter instantly, give honorary memento to 10 customers and make maximum contribution in bill collection.
