The 'Chittagong Research Festival' fair is going to be held for the first time at Chittagong University (CU). Jamal Nazrul Islam Mathematics and Physical Science Research Center and Chittagong University Research and Higher Study Society (CURHS) will organize this festival in the university on February 27.
This event is being done with the aim of presenting the research of Chittagong University and the diversity of research of all institutions of Chittagong in front of everyone. Chittagong University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Shireen Akhtar inaugurated the program of the research fair on Wednesday.
CU Pro VC Professor Benu Kumar Dey, Convener Jamal Nazrul Islam, Director of Mathematics and Physical Science Research Center Dr. Anjan Kumar Chowdhury, Member Secretary Professor Dr.Alak Pal, Chief Executive Professor Dr Adnan Mannan, Coordinator Dr. Shahnewaz Chowdhury, Dr Rizwanul were present. Haque, Dr Mohammad Moin Uddin, Dr Naeem Hasan Chowdhury, Dr Suman Barua, Program Supervisor and CURHS President Mahmud Sharif and General Secretary Kaberi Das.
It is known that more than half a hundred departments of Chittagong University and various institutes, research groups and laboratories of Chittagong Division will present their research work in this fair. There will also be awards for best researcher, young researcher award, best female researcher award. Renowned researchers from science, biology, medicine, engineering, sociology, humanities, commerce, environment, oceanography will present their inventions and researches on the stage. There will also be a special research show case corner on oceanographic research.
