Ctg General Hospital gets 5 ICU beds

The government has taken initiatives to establish a unit of 5 ICU beds at the Chittagong General Hospital. If any patient suffers from coronavirus he will be provided with ICU (Intensive Care Unit) service.

Civil Surgeon Dr Sekh Fazle Rabbi confirmed the matter saying, the government is going to set up a 5 bed ICU unit at Chittagong General Hospital. This will add new dimension to the medical system of Chittagong. If someone suffers from coronavirus and needs treatment in the ICU, then this hospital will provide treatment. 

Ctg city's first private hospital Parkview Hospital has come forward to treat patients suffering from  corona virus. If the Parkview hospital is filled with patients, then the rest patients will be treated at Chittagong Medical Center, Royal Hospital, Asia Hospital and Imperial Hospital in Pahartali in the GEC area.

Gradually, treatment will be given to patients suffering from corona virus at Anderkilla General Hospital in the city and Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (BITID) in Faujdarhat. Currently, these two do not have ICU facilities.
