The cattle markets in Chattogram have gained momentum with lots of buyers and thousands of sacrificial animals on the occasion of the Eid-ul-Azha. The buyers are rushing to the markets to purchase their sacrificial animals including cows, goats and other animals.

The market is filled with cows.  However, sales have increased. Many people in the port city have bought animals from the market a day or two ago.

However, since the moon has risen, people have been flocking to see animals in the permanent and temporary legal and illegal markets of Chattogram. This time, buyers prefer medium-sized cows at the Qurbani market. However, there is sufficient supply of native cows, but traders are demanding high prices.

The market of Qurbani animals has gathered in Chattogram, the busiest of buyers and visitors is going on.  A lot of cows are seen in every market.  Cattle market has started to accumulate with legal and illegal.  Moreover, buyers have the opportunity to measure the weight of the cow at the farm and online.  If you like, the cow is kept only if you make an advance booking.  Due to the opportunity to pay the remaining money and take it the day before the sacrifice, the farm is selling more.

On Tuesday, the market was crowded.  But according to the crowd, the lessees and sellers claimed that the animals were not sold.  Farmers said that the sale of cows in the agro farm and online is good even though the market has not picked up.  If you buy a cow from the farm, you have the opportunity to take it before the sacrifice.

When asked about the safety of the Moizzartekcow market, Akbar Mama, the lessee, said that the administration is giving us enough security. He also said, I hope no one buys cows from my market.  50,000 to 10 lakh cows are available in this market.  He urged everyone to buy cows from Moizzartekcattle market.

According to those concerned, sales in the market will increase as the time of Qurbani approaches.  Despite hundreds of trucks laden with cattle entering the city every day from the northern and southern regions bordering the country, sales have not yet picked up.

Even if you find a favourite cow in the market, it does not come at a price. As Friday and Saturday are weekend days, the busiest of buyers has increased in all animal markets of the city.  There are three permanent cattle markets in the city.

Among them SagarikaCattle Bazar, BibirHaatCattle Bazar and Postar Par Goat Bazar. Seven more temporary markets have been approved on the occasion of sacrifice.  These are Karnaphuli Animal Market, TK Group's ground south of Butterfly Park in South Patengaward No. 41, CDA Balur Field on Outer Ring Road in Halishaharward, TSP Ground next to Silo Road East Hossain Ahmad Para in North Patengaward No. 40, CIP on Muslimabad Road in the same ward.  Vacant ground of Jasim, Abandoned godown ground adjacent to Barapole of ward No. 26 and WazediyaMoor of Panchlaishward No. 3.

A lot of cattle markets have been set up in the alleys of the city. Although the permanent temporary markets are not yet fully established, a large number of cows and goats have started arriving.  On the other hand, the Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) has conducted an eviction drive as the illegal cattle markets have become a threat to the legitimate markets.

No gang will be allowed to extort anywhere on the regional highway. Strict action will be taken against anyone who receives information about extortion in the sacrificial animal vehicles, said Highway Cumilla Region Superintendent of Police Muhammad RahmatUllah.  Special arrangements have also been made by the lessee.  Police and its own security system have been kept at each market to prevent fraud. Highway police is in a strong position to ensure safe movement of livestock vehicles and extortion-free highways in view of the upcoming Eid al-Adha.
