City-dwellers were seen waiting in long queues on Saturday in front of booths for blood test and registration for vaccination at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical college hospital.
On Saturday 3.6 million Covid -19 vaccination arrived in the country.
The booths were running from Saturday morning and will run for following days from morning till afternoon.
With the increase in Covid-19 infections in the country in recent days, people have become more aware and encouraged to get vaccination jabs. Registration has begun for the jabs and the public seem more and more influenced to get vaccinated.
Availability of vaccination was in question. However, the government has made it clear that the vaccinations are top priority and would be made available for everyone in the country at any cost.
The people of the country are growing more optimistic in the battle against the virus with more vaccines coming in and have been inspired to get vaccinated. The public seem less skeptical now and more confident to take the precautionary measures.
The Covid-19 situation worsened breaking records in death and infection rates. More than 100 Covid-19 deaths have been recorded per day for the last 7 days straight. More than nine lakh people have been infected by the virus till date.
The infection rate is running significantly high. The overall statistics act as awareness and motivation for more people to get vaccinated.
