In Chitalmari of Bagerhat, the crime trend among the common people has decreased compared to the previous days. Common people are relieved by this turn of events. He also said that there was no incident of robbery in this police station in 2022. No kidnapping, rape, and smuggling cases lodged as law enforcement officials tried their best to provide a neat security. There has been 1 murder case. 4 against women, 1 under pornography law, 2 under religious sentiments, 4 theft, 1 under police attack, 1 under law of sabotage, 1 under arms law, 8 under gambling law, 2 under forgery, 1 under fraud, 3 under incitement to suicide, 63 fights and 85 under drugs. Which is much less than previous years. Under the direction of Superintendent of Police KM Ariful Haque (PPM) of Bagerhat District, he is working round-the-clock to prevent crime in coordination with the officer forces of the police station.
In this regard Chitalmari Upazila Parishad Chairman Ashok Kumar Baral, Shibpur Union Parishad Chairman Aliuzzaman Jewel said, 'The law and order situation is much better than before.
