Reportedly, after completing expansion work of the runway, the Cox’s Bazar Airport will be the most comfortable place for the planes travelling from the East to West or the West to East. The runway would be upgraded to 10,700 feet from the existing 9000 upon completion of its work. And the country will be the centre of communications for the entire world capitalising its geographical position.
Once, the Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok were important while Dubai is currently considered as an important place for the global business. And now Cox’s Bazar would be the next destination for the entire world as it would be the confluence of east and west of the world. The international airliners will get facility to refuel in Cox’s Bazar. And the Cox’s Bazar will be a great hub of international tourism. We think many foreign countries will start showing keen interest to invest in Bangladesh and raise their trade volume. Also, this will help the country increase the trade and businesses with western world.
Cox’s Bazar will be turned into one of the most modern cities having all the facilities to attract more tourists, especially foreigners. Therefore, the expansion work should be completed as early as possible.
