Cox’s Bazar teaming with tourists

Tourists flocked to Cox's Bazar during the Great Victory Day holiday. Traders are happy with the large number of tourists. Special arrangements have been made for the safety of the arriving tourists. After road and air, railways have opened new doors for tourism. All in all, life has returned to tourism.

Although Saturday is a weekend holiday, the tourist city of Cox's Bazar is visited by a large number of tourists due to the Great Victory Day. Many have come to Cox's Bazar after a long time only because of the train. The incoming tourists are visiting various tourist spots including Cox's Bazar beach. With the chill of winter, the roar of the sea, and tourists spend the day by swimming in the salty water.

Talked to tourist couple Nahida and Rahim from Rangpur at Labani Point of the beach. They said, we came from Rangpur to Dhaka, from Dhaka to Cox's Bazar by train with the whole family. The train journey was very beautiful. I like the new train very much. It's great to be at the beach this winter.

Faria Afrin, a tourist from Rupsa, Khulna, said, "First Cox's Bazar Aslam, along with my husband, are enjoying the nature by sitting on the beach in this winter season.

Nadia from Meherpur, Sadia said she could not leave her house for some time due to Corona. After a long time, the train started with Cox's Bazar. I brought the whole family here. But they said that it was very difficult to get train tickets.Farid Uddin Chowdhury who came from Chittagong said, We came to Cox's Bazar from Chittagong with whole family and many friends. The fun of coming to Cox's Bazar by train for the first time was different. Coming to Cox's Bazar with my family and having a great time. Mujahidul Islam from Chittagong's Boalkhali said, Cox's Bazar is very close to us but has not come for a long time.  

This time I brought my family and I am having a good day here. Abul Kashem, vice president of Cox's Bazar restaurant owner Samudra said, after a long time, our restaurants are selling well. For quite some time our business was going badly due to strikes and strikes. 

Many closed restaurants. But on Victory Day everyone opened and did good business. Alhamdulillah we are very happy.

Mosharof Hossain Dulal, president of Cox's Bazar Saikat Jhinuk Market Traders Association, said, "Our business has accumulated." We are very happy.

Founder President of Cox's Bazar Hotel Owners Association Shah Alam Chowdhury said, business is getting better this time. Our quality hotels have no chance to increase or decrease the room rent. So we always have the same rate. This time our traders are happy with the hope of tourists.

President of Cox's Bazar Hotel Guest House Owners Association Abul Kashem Shikder said, Alhamdulillah we are very happy with the hope of tourists. We want tourists to stay like this throughout the year.

Today, Cox's Bazar is full of tourists and this scene should remain all year round.

Helal Uddin, president of Cox's Bazar Citizens Parishad, said that railway line is the dream of the people of Cox's Bazar. Hon'ble Prime Minister has started the railway with Cox's Bazar through that railway line. This is a great opportunity for the tourism industry of Cox's Bazar. The rate of tourists is increasing day by day only due to the opening of railways. But the way rail tickets have gone to the black market is bad news for tourism. Govt should free black market railway tickets. The government has to make arrangements so that ordinary tourists get enough tickets.

Apart from Cox's Bazar beach, tourists are visiting various tourist spots including Inani, Himchari, Ramu, St. Martin.

Debashish, a tourist from Sylhet said, I came to Cox's Bazar with my whole family because the children's exams were over. However, hotel rent and food prices seem to be higher than before. The administration needs to pay attention to this.

District Commissioner of Cox's Bazar Mohammad Shaheen Imran said that three magistrates of the district administration are working round the clock so that the tourists do not face any problem or suffer any kind of harassment. We are ready to provide maximum civil service to tourists.

Additional DIG of Tourist Police Cox's Bazar Region Apel Mahmud said that special measures have been taken to ensure the safety of tourists coming to Cox's Bazar.

We also have a team at Cox's Bazar railway station. Various levels of teams are working to ensure that there is no problem from the railway station till the tourists come to Cox's Bazar beach.

Apart from beaches, security has been beefed up at tourist spots. Our members are also working in white clothes.
