Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is coming to Cox's Bazar on Wednesday. Elaborate security measures have been taken around the Prime Minister's visit. The party leader's arrival is showing great enthusiasm among the activists. Banners festooned the entire city. In addition to the three-day International Naval Power Inauguration held in the Bay of Bengal on Wednesday morning with the participation of 30 friendly countries, in the afternoon, the freedom fighter of Cox's Bazar will address a public meeting organized by the Cox's Bazar District Awami League at the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's public meeting at the Cox's Bazar Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium ground has been completed. The entire city of Cox's Bazar is covered with banners, festoons and pylons. Awami League leaders and workers are in a festive mood along with enthusiasm. Party leaders are hoping that this rally will turn out to be the biggest gathering in recent memory. Meanwhile, additional security forces have been deployed along with several layers of security. The surrounding area, including the public meeting place, has been cordoned off.

Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina is visiting Cox's Bazar on Wednesday after 5 and a half years.

And around the Prime Minister's visit, the entire district town is now in a state of high alert. There is a festive atmosphere among the activists. The roads are covered with colorful banners-festoons and pylons. Banners of ongoing mega projects and implemented projects in Cox's Bazar are also adorning it. According to the information provided by the concerned, the Prime Minister will inaugurate several implemented development projects and lay the foundation stone of some new projects at the party rally.

Meanwhile, Awami League leaders are excited about the party leader's public meeting. Extensive campaigning has been carried out at the grassroots level to welcome the Prime Minister and make the public meeting a success.

General Secretary of Maheshkhali Upazila Awami League of Cox's Bazar Tarek Bin Osman Sharif said that thousands of people from Maheshkhali will come to Cox's Bazar to catch a glimpse of the Prime Minister.

President of Chakaria Upazila Awami League and local member of parliament Alhaj Zafar Alam said that the people of my area are excited to see Bangabandhu's daughter. 50,000 party leaders from Chakaria Pekua will attend the public meeting of the district Awami League today.

General Secretary of Cox's Bazar District Awami League and Mayor of Cox's Bazar Municipality Mujibur Rahman said that the Prime Minister has given many things to the people of Cox's Bazar without asking. As a means of expressing gratitude, Awami League has completed all preparations to bring the largest public gathering in this year's meeting.

Central Awami League religious affairs secretary Advocate Sirajul Mostafa said that the entire city of Cox's Bazar will be transformed into a public meeting by spreading the public meeting grounds.

Superintendent of Police of Cox's Bazar Mahfuzur Rahman PPM said, the law and order forces have completed the overall security preparations for the Prime Minister's public meeting. 4 levels of security have been adopted. Where more than 4000 police will be on duty. Police personnel from four surrounding districts, including Cox's Bazar, have been brought to Cox's Bazar for duty.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate 28 projects at a public meeting in Cox's Bazar. These projects have been implemented at a cost of 1 thousand 383 crores. At the same time, he will lay the foundation stone of 4 new development projects at a cost of Tk 572 crore.
