National Voter's Day was celebrated in Cox's Bazar on March 2, Thursday, like the rest of the country, with this slogan. To celebrate the day, Cox's Bazar district and Sadar Upazila Election Office organized day-long programs. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Cox's Bazar Zahid Iqbal officially inaugurated the day-long day by blowing up balloons in the premises of Cox's Bazar District Election Office on Wednesday morning.
Cox's Bazar district election officer SM Shahadat Hossain presided over the opening ceremony as special guests.
After this, various types of service activities for the voters started.
Among them, various types of service activities including new voter registration, smart card distribution, voter transfer and correction activities are carried out. New inclusions, lost, modified, transferred. These four types of cards are distributed among the voters on the occasion of Voter's Day.
