So, here’s a few facts that will help you decide "what's better" on the basis of your body’s need.

Buffalo milk is a rich source of protein as it has around 10-11 percent of protein as compared to cow milk. So, if someone is planning to go for a protein rich diet, then adding buffalo milk to the diet can be a great idea.

If you are looking to go for milk with low-fat, then cow milk is a great option as it has 3-4 percent of fat as compared to buffalo milk, which has around 7-8 percent. In fact, the fat content in buffalo milk makes it difficult to digest and is not good for people suffering with lactose intolerance. However, buffalo milk keeps you satisfied for a longer duration of time

Both buffalo milk and cow milk are good to keep the body hydrated. However, if you want to add more water to your diet, then cow milk is a great option as it has as good as 90 percent water content, which helps in keeping you hydrated.

Despite the fact that buffalo milk has a much higher fat content as compared to cow milk, it is surprising that it has a low amount of cholesterol, which makes it a perfect choice for people suffering from diseases like hypertension, kidney problems, PCOD and obesity.

There’s no denying the fact that buffalo milk has much more calories as it is high in protein and fat content. In fact, 1 cup of buffalo milk contains 237 calories, while 1 cup of cow milk contains 148 calories.

Both the milk variants are rich in nutrients and can give your body the much required nutrition. However, if you are looking for an easy to digest milk, then going for cow milk is the best. But if you drink milk to keep yourself satiated for a longer duration of time, then buffalo milk is the best. The choice of milk depends on your preference and body's requirement.
