The Covid situation continues improving in the district as the recovery rate from the lethal virus stands 98.29 percent.
No death due to Covid-19 was recorded today for the 68th consecutive day and no new infection was found for 3rd consecutive day in the district.
District health department sources said no new infection was found after testing 17 samples in Colonel Maleque Medical College PCR Lab here during the last 24 hours till Wednesday morning. Medical Officer of Manikganj Civil Surgeon Office Dr. Rounok Mushrafe said a total of 8,213 persons were detected Covid-19 positive.

in the district so far after testing 47,859 samples.
The number of cured patients from the lethal virus stood at 8,073, she said. The death toll from the virus remained at 125 in the district.
