Students of Schools, Colleges and Universities of village Bhangbaria under Alamdanga upazila of Chuadanga district have completed registration of COVID-19 vaccine to 2030 males and females of the village up to date. After registration they have started to takeing vaccine gradually.
Hasanudowla Milon, a teacher of primary school said in the meantime 2030 male and female registration for taking vaccine have been completed by the students. Of the total 989 are males and 1041 females.
He also said the students are in the village due to pandemic. They have android phones and laptops. As a result they went to door to door of the village and completed registration for vaccine. Later, they printed out the vaccine cards and distributed among them.
Hafizur Rahman, a lecturer of Badargonj Degree College said, two oxygen cylinders and some oxi-meter have been purchased for the Covid-19 patients of the village.
The programme was organized by Aminul Islam, Headmaster of Bhangbaria Govt. Primary School, Monowar Hossain, Jafar Ali, members of Bhangbaria Union Parishad, Health Workers Salauddin Ripon, Jahid Hossain Sumon, and Khairul Islam.
It may be mentioned that, Omme Atika Mollik Akhi, Nutritionist and Health Educator of Chuadanga Diabetic Hospital, advised the Covid-19 patients and aged persons for taking nutritional food for development of immunity in the health through mobile phones or on line connection.
