Covid-19 test machine handed over to Narail Sadar Hospital

The Covid-19 test machine has been handed over to Narail Sadar Hospital on Saturday noon. 

Narail-2 MP Mashrafe bin Mortaza inaugurated the handover ceremony via teleconference at 12:30 pm. Director of MBDC and Line Director Tblep and AFP Health Department Professor Dr Samiul Islam was present as the chief guest in the inaugural function at the Sadar Hospital auditorium on the occasion. 

Dr. Superintendent of Narail Sadar Hospital Abdus Shakur presided over the function organized by Narail Adhunik Sadar Hospital.Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Narail Anjuman Ara, District Council Chairman Advocate Sohrab Hossain Biswas, Superintendent of Police Md. Jasim Uddin PPM, Narail Sadar Upazila Parishad chairman and district Awami League general secretary Nizam Uddin Khan Nilu, World Health organisation’s  senior TB specialist Sardar Tanjir Hossain, Narail municipality mayor Md Jahangir Biswas, Mashrafe bin Mortaza MP's father Golam Mortaza Swapan were present the function as special guests. Narail Sadar Hospital Resident Medical Officer (RMO) Dr Mashiur Rahman Babu conducted the function. 

Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Samiul Islam said that the Covid-19 test machine approved by the World Health Organization and recognized by the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and built using Gene Expert technology invented in United States which situated at Narail Adhunik Sadar Hospital can be completed in just 45 minutes corona virus test. 

As a result of installing this machine, the people of Narail will not have to wait day after day to know the results of Covit-19 test. 

Patients infected with Corona virus will be able to get treatment at the earliest. He added that it is a milestone for patients with corona virus infection. 

At the end of the inaugural function the chief guest Dr. Samiul Islam planted a tree sapling in the hospital premises.
