Covid-19 claimed two more lives while forty two were newly infected and fifteen people recovered from the virus in Narayanganj.
The total death toll in the district reached at 77 whereas the infected figure is 2,532. Among the two new deceased, one is a local Awami League leader Giasudin.
Quoting the hospital report Naraayanganj SadarUNO Nahida Barik explained that Giasuddin also had a cardiac attack. Narayanganj Sadar upazila Vice Chairman Fatema Monir is one who is taking treatment, OC Aslam Hossain of Fatulla police station said.
