Khandkar Mozammel Haque Jony, a bench-clerk at the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court (CMM), has been remanded for three days by the court. He faces charges of forging a judge's order.
The remand was granted on Thursday afternoon, following a police request for interrogation. Earlier, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Rajesh Chowdhury had ordered Jony's arrest on Wednesday.
He was subsequently apprehended and taken to Kotwali police station in the capital, where a fraud case has been filed against him.
