Police on Thursday recovered the bodies of a couple from their house at Jalshin village in Dhaka's Dhamrai.
The deceased were identified as MdJuyel, 25, son of Mansur Fakir, and his wife Rumi Khatun, 18.
Dipak Chandra Saha, officer-in-charge of Dhamrai Police Station, confirmed the matter to Bangladesh Post. OC Saha said they suspect Juyel killed his wife by poisoning before committing suicide However, cause of their death would be known after post mortem examinations, he added.
Police sent the bodies to local hospital morgue for autopsy. A case was filed with Dhamrai police station in this connection, the OC added.
