CoU to conduct online classes

Comilla University (CoU) administration has decided to conduct online classes until further notice to avoid health risks due to severe heatwave across the country.

After an emergency meeting of the Academic Council on Sunday night, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. A F M Abdul Moyeen confirmed this. 

He said that the semester examination will be conducted in air-conditioned rooms. However, the mid-term examinations will be suspended till May 2. 

Moreover, half of the transport services will also be operational during this time.

Earlier, the government announced a seven-day holiday for all the schools and colleges in the country due to the ongoing heatwave. Besides, the classes of all the colleges affiliated to the National University have been declared closed for an indefinite period.
