The Comilla University (CoU) authorities observed the National Library Day on Wednesday. Marking the day, a procession, led by CoU vice-chancellor Professor Dr Emran Kabir Chowdhury, was brought out from in front of the administration building, parading important streets on the campus it ended in front of the Bangabandhu portrait.
‘There’s no alternative of library to educate nation. We, therefore, modernized our university library including several facilities,’ said VC Emran Kabir in a post rally short discussion programme. Teachers, students and library staffs, among others, participated in the rally.
