Coronation meeting and conference of the newly elected body of Jhenidah district unit of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) was held in the district town on Friday night.
Presided over by BMA’s Jhenidah district unit president ABM Siddiqul Islam, MP of Jhenidah-1 constituency and president of Jhenidah district Awami League Abdul Hyee attended the function as the chief guest.
BMA central committee secretary general Ehtesamul Haque Chowdhury, office secretary Shahidullah, executive member Jamal Uddin Bhuiyan, Dr. Jabed, the organisation’s Khulna divisional vice president Sheikh Baharul Alam, Khulna divisional director of the health directorate Rasheda Sultana and civil surgeon Salina Begum were also present, among others.
BMA district unit general secretary Rashed Al Mamun conducted the event. The elected representatives of the new committee were graced with floral wreaths by the chief and other special guests.
