Coronavirus is still in the community transmission state in Bangladesh. The virus is spreading in such a way that it is not possible to find out the source, the World Health Organization (WHO) said.

Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh, the agency's regional director for Southeast Asia, told the media. He said there was no evidence that hard immunity had been created in Bangladesh.

Dr. Poonam analysed the nature of the virus and said that the virus is effective at the local level. It is important to continue regular reviews.

There is no chance of reducing health measures. The scientist praised several steps taken by the Bangladesh government to prevent the disease.

Coordination of the government, early detection of diseases, health and other related measures have brought benefits. These measures have helped limit the spread of the infection and keep the number of newly infected patients in need of medical assistance.

Hopefully, the rate of infection in Bangladesh is decreasing every day. In the last 24 hours, 18,850 samples were collected in 94 labs. 12 thousand 999 samples including some previous samples were tested. One thousand 476 patients have been identified. The patient identification rate is 11.35 percent. At that time 31 people died. In all, four thousand 733 people died.

The number of new patients identified has dropped significantly since the beginning of July.
