A construction worker died after falling from a ten-storey under construction building in Demra area of the capital on Tuesday.
The victim was identified as Kabirul Islam, 25, hailed from Godagari thana of Rajshahi.
The incident took place at around 11:00am in the area. He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital at around 5:00pm in critical condition where doctor declared him dead.
Victim’s co-worker Rubel said that he fell down while working on a 10-storey under construction building around 11:00.
Later, he was taken to DMCH where doctor declared him dead, he added.
