Health Minister Zahid Maleque on Friday said that the construction payment of hospitals and other establishments related to health sector to be given after ensuring quality of works and not otherwise, reports BSS.
“There is no scope to give payment before completion of the construction of public works. Payment to be made after ensuring quality of the works,” he told a review meeting of the visible development of the health services. About the welfare of medical students, the minister said that dormitories with modern facilities will be built for the medical students adjacent to hospitals.
Director General of Health Department Dr Abul Kalam Azad, Secretary of the Health Service Department Md Asadul Islam, Secretary of the Health Education Department Sheikh Yusuf Harun, Government Hospital Directors, Professors and Institute Directors and representative from different hospitals were present at the meeting.
