Under the project titled "Construction of 12 (G + 11) Stored Modern Residential cum Commercial Office Building with 2 Basements of Padma Oil Company Limited at 6 Paribagh, Dhaka-1000".
Padma Oil Company Limited signed an agreement on Sunday with NDE-TEAL JV, the selected contractor for the construction of the building. The agreement was signed by Padma Oil Company Limited Project Director Engineer Md. Mossadek Hossain and NDE-TEAL JV Managing Director Rizwan Mustafiz. Engineer Md. Masudur Rahman, Managing Director of Padma Oil Company Limited and senior officials of the company were present on the occasion.
After the signing of the agreement, State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid, MP joined online and inaugurated the signing ceremony and construction work of the multi-storey building. The Minister of State unveiled the foundation stone of the project and directed that the project be completed on time. Honorable Senior Secretary of the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources Md. Mahbub Hossain, Chairman of Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) ABM Azad (NDC), senior officials of the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources, members of the management of Padma Oil Company, Officers of different departments.
Project Director Engineer Md. Mossadek Hossain said that modern engineering technology will be used in the construction of the building. The building will have central air conditioning system, smoke detection, sprinkler system fire safety system, elevator, solar panel, substation and generator, water treatment plant, waste treatment plant and other facilities and all systems will be operated through Building Management System (BMS).
He said that the building will use curtain steel and facade glass, which will help in maintaining a favorable environment of the building by keeping the corrosion resistant and the temperature of the building in harmony with the environment. The building will also be constructed in Irregular in shape in both vertical and horizontal alignment and is expected to be an exceptional iconic building in Bangladesh.
