Condition of 3 patients stable in Rajshahi, 57 in home quarantine

Fifty-seven people including 54 returnees from Dhaka and Narayanganj have been kept under home quarantine in Rajshahi during the last 24-hour ending Wednesday morning. 

Among the quarantined people, 25 people returned from Dhaka and 19 from Narayanganj. Three more people who came in contact with those persons have also been sent under home quarantine. 

Dr Enamul Haque, Civil Surgeon of Rajshahi informed, local administration in cooperation with the medical team members were finding out the people who recently came to Rajshahi from Dhaka and Narayanganj. Police and Medical team members were also trying to identify those persons who came in contact with returnees from Dhaka and Narayanganj to put them under home quarantine as well. 

Meanwhile, the condition of three Coronavirus infected patients in Rajshahi, now at their home isolation, is stable, informed Dr. Azizul Haque Azad, Head of Corona Detection and Treatment Committee of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. 

During briefing the media on Wednesday, Dr. Azad said, all three patients' physical condition is well. They are still not in a situation to be admitted to the hospital, as a result, they are being treated at their houses. RMCH Corona medical team was maintaining regular contact with the patients and it is hoped, the patients will recover from  illness at their houses. He further said, two patients bearing symptoms of Cornavius have been admitted at RMCH.

 They are being treated by keeping under isolation at Rajshahi Infectious Disease Hospital. The samples from the bodies of those patients have been collected and are being tested, he added. 

Three corona infected patients including one female belonged to Puthia and Bagmara upazila. Two of them recently returned from Narayanganj and one from Dhaka.
