Md. Mostafa Kamal, a Senior Sub-Inspector (SI) of Comilla Sadar Dakshin Model Police Station, has been promoted to the rank of Police Inspector.
The promotion was officially conferred by Comilla District Police Superintendent Mohammad Nazir Ahmed Khan at his office on Thursday afternoon. Additional Police Superintendent Mohammad Rashedul Haq Chowdhury was also present at the ceremony.
SI Mostafa Kamal joined the Bangladesh Police in 2012. After receiving training from the Sardah Police Training Centre, he served in various important police stations across the country.
During his posting at Comilla Sadar Dakshin Model Police Station, he played a key role in recovering illegal arms and narcotics, arresting smugglers and fugitive criminals, and uncovering crucial information in significant cases.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the police station, Mohammad Selim, and his colleagues are credited for their overall support in his successful endeavors.
Hailing from a Muslim family in Sreepur Upazila, Gazipur district, Inspector Mostafa Kamal and his family are celebrating this achievement and career advancement.
