An intermediate second year student of Rajshahi city college was stabbed to death on his way home at Hatemkhan-Bornali road under Boalia police station by unidentified assailants early morning on Tuesday.
The victim was identified as Fardin Asharia Rabbi, son of Mozaffar Ali of village Mominpur under Parbatipur police station of Dinajpur district.
Rabbi had been living at a student dormitory owned by one Montasir at Hatemkhan area from July-31. Earlier he used to reside in another dormitory named Laily cottage under the same police station.Police recovered the body from the middle point of Hatemphan-Bornali road at about 6:00 am and sent it to RMCH for autopsy.
Golam Ruhul Quddus, spokesman of RMP and additional deputy commissioner of RMP, said that there was marks of stab injuries through sharp weapon on the head of the victim. He apprehends that victim might die due to excessive of bleeding from head.
