Speakers at a view-exchanging meeting have stressed the need for collective efforts of all government and non-government organisations to stop early marriage and the spread of dengue and other mosquito-carried diseases.
Chapainawabganj district administration arranged the meeting in association with UNICEF in the conference room of the deputy commissioner on Wednesday noon.
With deputy director of Local Government Debendranath Orao in the chair the meeting was attended by the deputy commissioner of Chapainawabganj AKM Galiv Khan as the chief guest.
Superintendent of police (SP) of Chapainawabganj Md Saidul Hasan and principal of Nawabganj Government College Professor D. Shankar Kumar Kundu attended the meeting as special guests.
